I've been a uker for a while now, and was really anticipating this anthology. I just heard about it today (March 7, 2013) and it was published in April 2012. Also, I've been to at least ten other sellers, and they all say "Be the first to review." Well, I took the leap and placed my order today. Maybe I'll edit this one later. Eleven months on the market and not a word, pro or con? Here we go, two weeks after arrival. The tunes are well-written for uke, a Beloff standard, but I think the lack of excitement over this anthology probably lies in the overall selection. Of all the tunes you think of when you hear "Broadway" , this is what we get: Any Dream Will Do; Baubles, Bangles, and Beads; Bewitched; Big Spender; Blue Skies; A Bushel and a Peck; Cabaret; Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man; A Cockeyed Optimist; Come Rain or Come Shine; Consider Yourself; Easter Parade; Gonna Build a Mountain; Goodnight, My Someone; Hello, Dolly; Honey Bun; I Can't Give You Anything But Love; I Whistle a Happy Tune; If I Were a Bell; If I Were a Rich Man; Is you Is, or Is You Ain't?; Look for the Silver Lining; Makin' Whoopee; Mame; Matchmaker; Me and My Girl; Never Never Land; Once In Love with Amy; Once Upon a Time; Tomorrow. In summary, these comments are very subjective. If these tunes appeal to you, or if there are enough winners to win you over, then go for it. I'm still going with one star. Of all the tunes from "Broadway", I think a small anthology of 30 tunes could have been more popular ones. (Copyright issues, maybe?) Good Luck.
