The (Francis) Bacon - Shakespeare Anatomy Details

Reviews

Highly recommend this book to anyone that has a general background of the Bacon-Shakespeare controversy. The writer takes a great deal of depth with the writings alleged to be Shakespeare, and Francis Bacon's Promus. The correlations he makes are very effective at delivering a point of analysis, though perhaps in some ways could make you feel indifferent to the analysis being made, depending on your preference for analysis. The author does go to various lengths to tie the subject matter together with the key points he is making, and doesn't necessarily go out of his way to try to make you believe one way or the other. He is merely making a point of assertion to the reader that a connection may well exist, and whether you wish to or not, you should easily find yourself delving in deeper once you finish the book, and read over a documentary or two (it's pretty interesting, really.)Also, be aware that the author of the book is a Cambridge scholar (in fact, my book was signed to someone which gave the impression he as the writer, and the person presented with my book, as a gift also went to Cambridge,) and was inspired by Francis Bacon's history at the school, along with vouching for the known fact that William Shakespeare was not highly educated. He delivers understanding of the lack of credibility of Shakespeare to have known about the subject matter's needed reference material, and the idea that many wealthy aristocrats wishing to stay anonymous would have used a pen name, such as Shakespeare may well have been. It's really a brilliant book, though it doesn't say everything it must.If you choose to look online for this book, on Google (they have it fully available to read, and it is scanned by page.) Also, look at sirbacon.org; which is very informative, even more so than this book is able to present due to size and style-format.
